About Avatar
Hey good looking! My name is Avatar and I’m a Boxer x Siberian Husky pup. My foster folks think that I look more like my Siberian Husky dad though. They tell me that it’s time now for me to find my forever family.

I can’t wait to show you how clever I am! I think I must have learned my super manners from my mum or dad as I sit patiently waiting for food or a pat but if you don’t see me I will give you a nudge, maybe a little nip on your heels or toes but if you don’t like that you can tell me ‘No’ and I will listen. I just love people so much. ❤️ My foster family think that I’m a cuddly little bear as I like to smooch right up to them and love lots of cuddles.
Now that I’ve been in my foster home for a few weeks now, I know my way around the place and I’m happy to explore my beautiful backyard, even mastering the stairs in my first day of being here. I would like to have a good yard so that I can continue to run around and chase my toys everywhere. I’m learning to chase a ball and return it but it’s taking me a while to master this as I’m still young and can get distracted which my foster mum just laughs at.
I love to wrestle my little sister and play chase with doggy friends who visit us. I even just like to sit and watch others play when I need to rest.
Obedience and Training
I’m still learning my name and not to jump on people in my excitement to see them. I have learned to sit and wait for my food and also to wait for a pat from you. I know that I will get much better with my manners if my new family spends time training me. I am a really quick learner!
I haven’t been left alone much at all so it may take me some time if I don’t have a doggy playmate in my new family. I’ve spent my time in foster with my little sister and another dog that my foster family have had to look after.
I’m still finding my voice and will let out a little howl if I hear a siren and a small bark when I’m excited and want to play.
Socialisation
I love playing with other dogs that are friendly too. I know when one does not want to play with me any more so I will go and play with my toys.
Sleep Habits
I am sleeping outside undercover sharing a bed and pen with my little sister. Sometimes if I get too hot I will stretch out on the deck in a cool spot to sleep.
I go to bed around 9pm most nights and sleep through to nearly 7am when I wake up and I think it’s time for brekky.
Ideal Home
I just love people. Being a pup, I’m still learning many things - like not jumping up when I’m excited to greet you and also not to nip your skin as I play or try to get your attention. So I would need to be watched if I’m in a home with very young children. Other things that are important for me:
Adoption criteria
A secure yard of larger size

A home where his family will understand that a new puppy will be a lot of work especially while they settle into a routine and all things that come along with a baby. Chewing.crying.stealing things they should not etc
If and only IF you meet the requirements of this puppy and would like to make him a part of your family please apply
