About Rory
Hi there …
Thought I’d just throw the word out there that I am available! Yep – it’s time I found a furever home!
I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself:
The name is Rory, I am an active and fun young bloke, and there is definitely some Beagle heritage in my past. I do like a chat and will let you know if I hear something that is unusual, and I would love to meet someone with a big yard for me to run (and sniff) in – we hounds adore a run and a sniff! But it needs to be secure (6ft fencing please!) unless you wanna see my Houdini impersonation???!!!
I am a good-looking lad, if I do say so myself, and my coat is so soft and silky.
Some people have said I am a bit cheeky and can get up to mischief if left by myself – that’s the Beagle in me, I can’t help that! If you keep me exercised and busy I will be fine …. it’s only if I get bored I might decide to practice my digging skills or check out your bins (bins smell SOOOOOO good!)
I haven’t had much training in the past, but I will sit when you ask me to – especially if food is involved (food is better than bins!) And I am a clever young man, so I would be happy to learn more things – especially some manners when walking in my harness – I just want to RUN! You will know if I am excited as I drag my blankets around, and if I want to play I will talk to you – I think it is only fair that I let you know my feelings!
I would LOVE to find a home with another active doggo, where I can come inside and be with you occasionally, but still have lots of running room outside. That sounds perfect to me!
Got kids? I love them!
Enjoy a walk? Me too!
Love drool? So do I!
Cats? Nahhhhh – we aren’t the best of mates.
Can you play tug-of-war? Great – I will help!
Got a lap? Wow – that’s a coincidence – I like sitting on laps!
I love to meet new friends, and to have a furever home is on the top of my To Do list!
If you have an active mate for Rory to run with plus good 6ft fencing please download and complete an adoption application at www.sarg.net.au/adopt

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
