Hi there! I'm the sweet and loveable Pogo! If you are looking for a bright ray of sunshine, then I know I'm just the dog for you!
I'm a clever and friendly boy who loves to be near people. Especially if everyone is indoors - nothing makes me happier than knowing I'm a part of the family and can join everyone inside. While I can be nervous in new environments, I start to relax if I have slow and friendly introductions to any new places or quiet walking routes. That way I know I'm safe and in good hands.
I'm an affectionate boy as well, who loves getting pats and giving plenty of love back! Cuddles, pats, face licks, sniffs and belly rubs... I love it all! And don't be surprised if I lean up against you if I'm feeling extra sooky... I just love cuddles that much!
The fastest way to my heart though is FOOD! I love food - especially doggie treats! I love to find ways to impress you for a cheeky extra snack or two. Since I'm a clever fast learner, it's great motivation for me to learn new tricks or training commands with you!
If anyone is home more often than not, I'd appreciate the company. I love lying down and relaxing in the house, so you'll have a very relaxed furry roommate/co-worker to keep each other company. Loud noises can spook me too, so I'd very much appreciate a calm home with plenty of routines to make me feel settled and safe.
I could share my home with a calm, social female doggie friend. We will need to meet at time of adoption. If there are any teens at home, I'd love to meet them too!
