Hugo

This special boy is longing for a family who can be patient, understanding and kind with his sensitive soul. Hugo loves to give the people he loves a lot of time and affection on the couch and in the home. Even though Hugo is only 5 years old, he loves the finer things in life and enjoys relaxing in the sun. However, he also loves fluffy toys and you'll usually find him pasted out with them by his side.

Once Hugo gets to know you he loves pats, play and cuddles on the couch. He likes to take a a bit longer then the rest to get to know people and allow them into his small tight knit circle of friends. However, once your in your his best mate for life. Hugo requires someone who is confident in helping him make friends outside of the shelter and who potentially has some experience in this behaviour.

Hugo enjoys the company on more mature people in the home so please no children or other animals in the home, as little Hugo is not quite ready for a busy household. Hugo has been able to make some dog friends in the shelter however for him to get the relaxation he needs, it would be preferable for him to be the only pet in the home. However, in the coming months after adoption he would love to go meet the dogs in the neighbourhood for some socialisation.
