About Nyx
This beautiful girl is in desperate need for a special "Cat Lover" to give her the love and life she totally deserves. She has loved and nurtured a number of kittens and now it's her turn to have her human spoil her.
Nyx is petite in stature but big on personality, and will steal your heart. Her name means Greek Goddess of the Night, would you love your very own sleek black panther goddess?
This beautiful girl will take as many pats as you will give and loves being close to her people. She is not a lap cat and doesn’t enjoy being picked up but loves to know where you are and keep you company while steeling a nice pat. She is shy to start and will more than likely take a few weeks to come out of her shell but when she does realise you are there to love her she will repay you love and provide you with entertainment.
She is a sweet and chatty girl, after being given time to settle in.
She loves her humans but not a fan of her foster dog sister, she would much rather have all of your attention on her!
Nyx is an independent girl, happy to while away the hours sleeping and playing, while home alone.
She will make a wonderful addition to your family, and given the time and patience that she needs, will blossom into her full potential, and bring much joy.
Medical notes
Our vet suspect that Nyx has an immune mediated condition of the oral cavity and may require ongoing or intermittent anti-inflammatory management and dental care.
Nyx has had a number of teeth removed and has had to have a couple of anti-inflammatory injections (which are a low cost). We are hoping this will not deter you from adopting our lovely girl she is beautiful and deserves your love and care.
All vet history is available for Nyx's new owner
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
