Mami

If you’re looking for an easy-going, sweet-natured cat - Mami maybe your girl. She’s got a very relaxed, calm attitude to life. She’s also very affectionate and throws out head bumps like there’s no tomorrow!

Mami isn’t shy of strangers. She’s always keen to come out and inspect anyone who sets foot in the door. She can be easily startled at times, but she’ll quickly settle. Most of the day, she likes to be nearby her humans and sleep the day away. She’s only active for about 15 minutes a day, where she’ll run up and down the hallway. It’s hilarious!

This beauty loves her cushion, as it’s the best one to knead. She also likes a good brush session, which is handy for having a long coat! You can entertain her with laser light. She’ll chase it all the way up the walls.

Mami doesn’t like to be picked up or cuddled and isn’t a lap cat. This being said, she’ll show you affection in many other ways. She wants to be around you day and night, sit next to you on the couch and sleeps next to you.

Mami responds to finger-clicking! Click your fingers, and she’ll come running to you for a head bump or a play. She’s also a super stealthy quiet cat. You rarely hear her coming. She’ll just appear out of nowhere. Mami has the tiniest little meow that you don’t hear too often (aww!).

Mami doesn’t like wearing a collar. This is not a problem, as she only enjoys spending her time indoors. She likes looking at the birds in the garden from behind the window. A daily routine helps to live Mami her best life. She acts like your personal assistant, alerting you when it’s time to go to the office in the morning and to bed around 9 PM. Very helpful, Mami!

This sweet girl is litter trained, but she prefers a puppy pad over the litter box. Currently, she’s living with an 8-year-old boy and gets along well with him. She does prefer the company of adults over children.

Sadly, poor Mami is grieving the loss of her brother at the moment. She looks everywhere and is sad and confused as she can’t find him. For this reason, she’d love to have another cat to bond with. Ideally, she will go to a household with just adults, who are home more often than not. Mami is untested with dogs.
