About Joey
*In foster care in North Sydney*
Sweet Joey (affectionately known as Butterball to his foster carers) will find nooks and crannies in your house that you never knew existed! A fearless explorer, this darling boy can make a toy out of anything, and create crazy, action-packed games out of thin air.
Energetic, curious, social, and a total clown - that's Joey! His special stand-up piece is racing to his bowl and face-planting, then emerging with wet food smeared all over his nose. He loves to make people laugh :)
Once Joey is feeling relaxed and comfortable in his new home he'll never leave your side, whether you're watching your favourite TV series or just relaxing with a book. This gorgeous lad is the purrfect mix of playful and people-oriented!

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm pretty flexible, really! I think I'll adapt easily to a working household (as long as I get plenty of attention daily!), or to a family with children, or to a family who works from home all day. I might take some time to settle in and feel safe in my new home, but once I do it will be like a light switching on - get ready to be dazzled!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I'm a super-playful kitten, and I need lots of hands-on love too. I can play with my toys for hours at a time, chasing and pouncing and pretending I'm the king of the jungle. I tend to sleep at night when you do, and am ready to go, go, go in the morning!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: II believe I'd do very well in a home with kind children, as I play nicely and understand boundaries. I haven't had the chance to meet any yet, though.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Not sure, as I've been a solo pet up to now.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
