About Max
*max is currently trialling his new home* happy boy max is looking for a new home after misplacing his old one. . . . . . . This little cutie-pie was picked up by the ranger who found him wandering the streets of mildura and although he was microchipped his owner couldn’t be located so after 3 weeks of trying to locate them sarg stepped in and saved the little guy, promising max that we’ll find him a fabulous forever home and hopefully he’ll never end up unclaimed in a pound again!
according to max’s microchip he’s a maltese cross and we’re thinking he may have a bit of tibetan spaniel in him like coco a dog we recently rehoused as he has similar grey points on his ears plus gorgeous eyelashes but his feathery tail is a very red-tan which seems quite unusual. . . . . . He even has the tan colour throughout his coat, he’s a very pretty boy who’ll look even more handsome after a trip to the doggy hairdresser for a trim!
max is terrific with other dogs and enjoyed sharing his pen at the pound with a couple of other littlies and they all got along famously! he's good with children, isn't a bolter or a barker, sits when asked and has lovely manners. He weighs in at 6kgs which makes him a nice size for cuddling in your arms or having on your lap and is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy. Secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make max very happy indeed. Max will also require some regular brushing and a clip a couple of times a year to keep his coat in tip-top condition. This affectionate boy loves human companionship, is fully house-trained and would benefit from an inside / outside lifestyle in a loving household with either another dog to hang out with or where someone is home fairly often so he's not left alone for long periods of time especially during his settling in period. If you’ve got the fabulous forever home we’re after for max then please contact sarg for an application now!
