About Kiera- 9 Week Old (on trial 08/05/2022)
Kiera and her siblings were born in a council pound. While the staff there cared for and cuddled her, she’s not known what it’s like to live in a home environment outside of foster care.
Kiera is a gorgeous kitten, petite with big siamese-like ears and a pretty face. We’re very fond of her. Full of character, she will run up to you when you enter a room. Kiera is an affectionate kitten, purring away while reviving pats.
She’s curious and very playful, guaranteeing laughs and smiles for those who watch on. She loves toys and her cat tower, to scratch, play and climb. Kiera is litter trained and eats well.
Kiera is a cracker little cat, who loves attention and company. As such, she would love to go to a home with another cat, but this is not essential if she can go to a home that will give her plenty of love, enrichment and attention.
She will be fine going to a home with someone who works throughout the day (regular work/school hours) as long as she is not left alone for extended hours. Kiera can go to a home with school aged children if they are gentle and can respect her boundaries. Kiera has the potential to go to a home with existing pets, including a cat friendly dogs.
Kiera is an indoor cat only, unless she has a cat enclosure to spend some time outdoors in or walked with a harness and lead.
Kiera can only be adopted to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region, so she can be returned to a DRN affiliated vet for desexing when she is approximately 3.5- 4 months old.
Kiera’s adoption fee is $250, which includes her desexing, microchip, first vaccination and flea and worm treatment whist in foster care.
Kiera is currently in foster care in Raworth.
