About Alex- 9 Week Old (on trial 30/03/2022)
Alex and his sisters Kiera and Eden were born in a council pound in December 2021. While the staff there cared for and cuddled them, they’ve not known what it’s like to live in a home environment.
Alex is a gorgeous kitten, a little on the smaller side. He is super confident, very playful and self-assured.
Like all young kittens, Alex’s character and confidence is growing every day. His foster carer is sure his full personality will shine in his forever home.
Watching Alex and his sisters play is better than TV. They get themselves into the funniest poses and are sure to make you laugh with their awkward moves and bursts of energy.
We always love when two kittens can be re-homed together (have a read of this article to see why http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens ), so applications for pairs will be prioritised - but single applications are very welcome.
Alex is litter trained and eats well. He would prefer to go to a home with another cat however, he will be fine going to a home with someone who works throughout the day (regular work/school hours) as long as he is not left alone for extended hours.
Alex can go to a home with school aged children if they are gentle and can respect his boundaries. He would be best with a couple or a family that will not be gone for long periods of time. He has the potential to go to a home with a calm, cat/friendly dog.
Alex is an indoor cat only, unless he has a cat enclosure to spend some time outdoors in or walked with a harness and lead.
Alex can only be adopted to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region, so he can be returned to a DRN affiliated vet for desexing when he is approximately 3.5- 4 months old.
Alex’s adoption fee is $250, which includes his desexing, microchip, first vaccination and flea and worm treatment whist in foster care.
Alex is currently in foster care in Waratah West.
