About Annie ~ Boxer X Puppy(FF 17/5/22)
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provide individual listings specific to each foster dog that comes through our doors. Each listing outlines the specific requirements, and home that we are looking for. Should you submit an application OR inquiry and NOT receive a response within 5 business days (Monday-Friday), please understand that you have not met the specific requirements of the foster carer and will not be proceeding to the next stage. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged if you do not receive a reply, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time. Dog Rescue Newcastle reserve the right to not reply to unsuitable applicants and will not tolerate bullying, intimidation or harassment of our volunteers
This beautiful girl is Annie a 12 week old Boxer X Puppy who is now available for adoption.
Annie is in care with her sister Gracie who is also available for adoption.
Like most puppies she is full of energy and loves to play and to explore. Along with her sister, there are other dogs in her foster home. Annie just loves the other dogs especially when it comes to snuggling in tight for a snooze, playing tug-o-war or trying to chase the ball with the other dogs. She just loves to be part of the family.
Annie is responding well to her training, especially if there are treats involved. She will come when called and will sit before her food is served and for treats. She has taken to toilet training like a champion, with very few accidents inside now.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training to ensure proper boundaries and routines are established. This will ensure that you get the best family member/friend possible.
Annie sleeps inside and has the choice of being outside or inside when she is awake. She has always had the regular company of her foster family both human and four legged, so she is looking for a home where there is another dog for company. She currently has a large back yard to explore and as she expected to be a medium/large dog, an apartment or courtyard will not be suitable.
Annie needs a yard with secure fencing with no gaps. She has not been around children and may not be suitable for children under 12 years of age as she is still a bit jumpy and exuberant. She has also not been around cats, chickens or pocket pets.
For more information on Annie, please contact his foster carer Darlene on their email
