About Diesel (& Echo)
Name: Diesel
DOB : 27/09/21 approx
Adoption Fee: $400 with Echo ($100 discount!)
Snuggle scope: I'm a massive purr machine and love to snuggle anywhere you'll have me. I don't mind being picked up for a cuddle either.
Cat scope: I love a good wrestle and smooch with other cats, but particularly my "sis" Echo.
Dog scope: I don't mind quiet friendly dogs.
Child scope: If they're going to cuddle, play with, or feed me then I don't mind them at all! As long as they're not too rough with me because I'll play rough back or go into hiding!
ABOUT DIESEL
Diesel, his brother Angus and his Mother regrettably came into care as victims of the rental crisis. Sadly his family were forced to move to another house that wouldn't allow pets. Diesel's mother was so stressed and frightened by the whole situation that she came into care in a frenzy, attacking anything that moved, including her 2 little boys. As such, these poor, timid 6wk old, chunky little boys had to be separated from her whilst she settled in. In the meantime, Echo, my tiny solo foster, was very happy to welcome some new playmates and show them the ropes.
Initially, Diesel and Angus were both a little apprehensive around people, and it was clear they weren't used to being handled. However, after following Echo around for a few days they very quickly warmed to the idea that humans were good and became little snuggly purr machines! These 3 little tuxedos formed a very close bond and did everything together: eat, play, sleep, groom, toilet! After a about a week, their mumma had settle right down and lovingly welcomed her boys back. Surprisingly though too, she decided to adopt Echo as well! So now the boys officially had a sister :).
Diesel was very clearly the mumma's boy of the group, whilst Angus was a social butterfly and would often go mingle with the new little foster family that had been welcomed a few weeks after their arrival. All 3, Diesel, Echo, and Angus loved human visitors equally though, and would always be very welcoming and put always on a show! All 3 just thrive on attention and affection! The only exception was very small, squealing humans, neither Echo nor Diesel were sure what to make of this so would only observe from somewhere out of reach. Angus, on the other hand, fell in love in love with a particularly loud, happy toddler so of course was adopted as soon as he had his "big boy" operation.
Diesel has himself also had all of his vet work complete and is maturing into a strapping looking gentleman. He is a chunky, really smoochy boy, with a stunning gaze and a loud, comforting purr. Plus, check out his unique pattern of 3 dots on his belly! I bet you won't come across this too often! He is cheeky, a little bit naughty (sneaks up on the kitchen bench), and very much an entertainer, you should see him with the bathroom tap! He's a great brother to Echo, generally well mannered to the other animals, very clean, and, of course, very loving. He also really loves his food! Most of all though, he loves Echo :).
After the "3 amigos" band was broken up with Angus' adoption, Diesel and Echo only grew closer. They snuggle, rough-house, eat and run amok together, and contentedly groom each other. As such, it is important that these 2 stay together so they can keep each other company. As it can be very stressful for bonded kitties be separated from each other, it is in their best interest that Diesel and Echo stay together.
Diesel and Echo would love a home together that is indoor only and full of love. If you think this pair sounds like the perfect addition to your household, please contact us to arrange a meet and greet.
Medical notes
Diesel is a very healthy boy. His vet work is complete and he is up to day with parasite prevention.
