AKA: Prince Charming, Princey Boy…

Prince is certainly an eye catching young man. He is very switched on, smart and eagerly wants to learn. He is currently in the progress of learning a new tick of walking in and out of his handlers legs…. give this clever boy something to achieve and he is hooked.

Prince loves to play outdoor games. Swimming , balls & squeaker toys are his favourite things in the world. Boy does he also love treats, just get any type of packet out and his lovely ears spring up and he sits in anticipation. This social boy is a chatter box and makes it known that he wants in with whatever is going on around him.

Our Princey boy has not previously lived his best life. He came to us fearful of people and it has taken a period of time for him to open up and trust us. At times he can still be unsure of new people and he will take a cautious approach until he is confident that you are a good person. Our staff and volunteers have made wonderful progress with Prince by engaging him with things that he loves to do and allowing him time to adjust.

Other pets: Prince gets along with most canine friends however through a barrier he can be dog reactive. One on one he tries to entice other friends by bow playing and he has displayed nice manners when interacting with his pound buddies during pack walks. It appears that Prince has previously not been given the opportunity to socialise and interact much with other canines. At this stage we believe Prince would be best suited as an only boy of his household. Prince is not suitable to be homed with felines.

Type of household: Prince would suit families with children from 15 years old and who are experienced with his Staffy breed. Prince requires structure and a family who are at home more than not. Human company is important to this precious boy, therefore he would love to be welcomed within the family home and become an integral part of his human’s world. Prince thrives on being active and outdoor life. Bush walk adventures where he can sniff, run and play in puddles of water makes this boy happy. Therefore his new family must enjoy the outdoors and be able to keep him active.

Prince’s adoption fee covers: microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea & worming.
