About Hunny Bunny
Hi there, my name is Hunny Bunny! I was surrendered to Belle Vie after having never left the property I was born on, a nice lady took me to her house and has been looking after me and teaching me how to dog. She says I need to tell you a little bit about myself so that I can find my forever home, so here I go!
I'm a lady so I can be very shy at first when I meet new people, especially men, but after a while I come out of my shell and even come up for a pat and to say hello. Speaking of pats, I love smooches and once I've figured out who gives the best pats, I wanna hang around them forever. I haven't had much experience with the big wide world yet and I'm learning every day but some things still spook me like people being loud or fast or grabby so I think I'd like a house that doesn't have small kids or too much going on all at once. I would like a sibling though! I love other dogs and they also help me come out of my shell quicker, monkey see, monkey do and all that. I've never met a cat but I've seen them and I don't really care, same with those big neigh doggo things. I get bored very easily too but as long as I have a sibling to play with and toys to chew on, I'm happy, even if it's just and egg carton or a milk bottle!
I am part working dog so I'm very smart and also very active in my body and mind so I need a family that has plenty of time to spend with me, working on my confidence, my training and taking me for lots of walks to get my energy out. So far I have learnt to sit and stay for my food, I know lay down and I know my crate is my bed. Still working on my excitement sometimes and my toilet and lead training but I'm getting there. I love food though and when foster mum brings my dinner out I do a little happy dance on my back legs and they seem to like it!
So basically I can be a scaredy cat and take time to warm up but once you get me going I'm a big goofball who loves to run and play fetch and cuddle with my human. I'm just looking for someone to build trust with, to show me how to live life and a much loved pet. Thank you for reading and I hope I sound like I would fit in at your place and in your heart.
