About Sunny
☀️ADOPT OR FOSTER SUNNY☀️ 1.5 year old male champagne/white tabby cat 🐱🧡 *Located in foster care in Strathfield, NSW 2135*
Sunny is an affectionate, playful, loving, friendly and sweet boy! He absolutely loves his humans.
Sunny is ready to fill your heart and home with so much sunshine & love! He has blessed our lives with so much love and happiness.
He is a very affectionate boy and a purring machine! He will start purring even when you’re patting his sister or furriends and he’s across the room (LOL)! He is always ready for pats, cuddles, kisses and being carried around like a baby.

He has a very unique personality (in true ginger cat style)! He makes sweet little chirps and meows to talk to his humans and other cats. He loves playing with toys and his humans.
He also enjoys ”hunting” items around the house and showing them off while carrying them around in his mouth (e.g. felt balls, cat toys, blankets, key rings, hair ties, clothing, beanies, etc.) it’s very cute and funny to see! He doesn’t wreck or damage any of the items.
He is happy to play with any and all new toys, try out new cat furniture, wear a cat harness, travel in the car, drink from water fountains…and basically live his best spoilt cat “fur-baby” life!
While he loves his humans, he is also happy to be independent. He will spend his day, basking in sun rays, napping in his cat tree, staring at birds from the window or watching people pass by from his enclosure.
He would be the perfect companion for a single person, couple, or family with older children. He has lived in a house but could live in an apartment if there is enough space for his to have a separate quiet area while settling in.
He is a bit shy at first and can be quite scared of strangers and loud noises. So he needs a patient and loving family.
Sunny would love having access to an enclosed outdoor area (e.g. a large cat enclosure or netted area)! We can provide a temporary enclosure while he settles in.
SUITABILITY TO OTHER PETS:
Sunny have always lived with other cats and kittens so he would be
happy to live with another kitty! He would love to be adopted with his sister Roxy!
Alternatively, he would be happy to live alone if he is given enough attention and love.
RESCUE STORY:
We originally trapped and rescued Missy (who had been abandoned) and her 4 kittens (Sunny, Roxy, Pepper and Prince). Missy was very social, but her kittens were scared of humans as they had lived hiding in bushes outside an apartment block. We socialised the mum and the kittens and gave them lots of TLC!
Slowly the rest of the family were adopted, except Roxy and Sunny. We ended up deciding to keep them as resident cats, however, as they got older they wanted their own space and a more consistent lifestyle (without constantly dealing with so many new pets). They have had a very spoilt and loved life here at the rescue cat crew home.

He has no medical or behavioural issues!
