About Elsa
Hi everyone, this post is about me, Elsa. It’s finally my turn to find my furever family. So please read very carefully because when you adopt me, I want it to be furever. People think, white dog, must be deaf. Noooooo I am not deaf! I hear everything people say about me, the good, the bad and the ummmmm, beautiful
Barking is not a big deal for me. I bark sometimes when I meet other dogs, or I think there is a murderous mouse on the fence waiting to run up my legs. I have been known to bark when I meet a new person but that’s just me saying "Hi!" I love my walks and I walk fairly well once I get a rhythm going. I am not reactive to little dogs although I do wonder what it would be like to be that close to the ground. I tried it once, but a green ant bit my butt – never did that again.
You bet I’m smart. I am toilet trained and know sit, drop, stay, and go to bed. The one I learned very quickly was “Get out of the kitchen,” and I have to admit sometimes my legs quiver and begin to move without my permission for the “stay” command. I do need a little more training. My favourite thing would be trips in the car. I love putting my head out of the window and feeling the breeze on my face. Soooo relaxing.
I love to share my toys! It makes playing fun. I have just discovered balls - bouncing balls - and while they are fun to play with, I also get lots of exercise running around after them. Soft toys are ok, however sometimes I just feel the need to chew them.
I am not food motivated at all. I eat so I can play and go for car rides and stay healthy and my Foster Mum says I am a bit fussy. My rewards are cuddles, love, and some attention - not too much to ask for and it’s free. Yay!
I haven’t been around children at all during my 15 months of life so I would prefer a home with bigger children over ten years of age. I have chased chickens, so even though I have had nothing to do with cats I think they may get quite a bit of exercise with me around. I promise you I am a good dog. Just because I ripped up something of my Foster Mum’s yesterday doesn’t make me bad. I have never done it before .... something just came over me.
Don’t forget my 6ft fencing. I have never tried to escape even from my foster fur brother who I do love. I need to be kept safe and secure. Please complete the adoption application if you think I could be a part of your lovely family.
