Poe could have been named after an anime character because of his striking eyes

While his eyes are undoubtedly one of his best features, he has many more he wants you to know about him, starting with his beauty mark.
Poe has an extremely genteel temperament and has never shown any aggression to humans.
He is also very sweet and adores getting pets. Even though he’s been getting pets for a while, every time he acts surprised by how nice it feels and really cherishes the experience. He has such an inquisitive expression, and loves a chat

Poe wandered into a backyard where he was fed, and decided to frequent it regularly. Worried for his health over continuous days of extreme heat as well as the constant scuff marks on his face, he was taken in by the rescue. His world was turned upside down.
The abrupt change confused him and he was upset at first, but it didn’t take long for Poe to start appreciating the regular food and comforts of a domestic life. As soon as he learnt how to use the litter tray, he has not had any mishaps. He has conquered the loud and scary TV in no time and now enjoys watching it from the couch. He’s not a fussy eater and has a talent to vacuum a plate of food instantly. It’s almost like a magic trick where he will make you think you haven’t fed him yet! Poe will be quite vocal and express his happiness when shredded chicken is on offer. He is surprisingly slim, despite his appetite.
He is still learning to co-exist “nicely” with other cats and can sometimes be a bit feisty, but he is very comfortable with humans and trusts them. New guests scare him but when he feels safe enough, he will pop his cute jowly face to say hello.
There are still many “firsts” you can look forward to sharing with him, such as a lap visit, a cuddle, belly rubs, and co-sleeping. He will get there, perhaps faster in an environment without too many cats which is why he’s now ready to start looking for his forever family.
