About Nova
Miss Lova Lova! Call her fantastic. Nova has sooooo much lova to give you. Soft and cuddly, hug her up like a quilt. She's a lyrical lover, no take her for no filth!
All jokes aside, the best thing about Nova's personality is how gentle her nature is. She's the most caring, loving dog and enjoys spending time around you. She loves so intensely. You can see it in her precious soul when she looks at you. She really is the sweetest thing.
The ball is Nova's favourite thing. Her toy llama provides her comfort when times are stressed. She used to live with another doggo, who she'd really liked to be friends with, but this wasn't reciprocated, unfortunately. This caused her significant stress, and cuddling her llama toy helped her calm down. Another thing she'd really like in the future is to be included in every activity happening. She absolutely adores her humans and follows them around like a shadow. Her loyalty is admirable!
She'll let you know when it's cuddle time. She likes to cuddle in the morning on the bed, and she'll lean her head on you for pats. Nova is very mellow and happy to sleep or play with her toys independently when she's alone at home.
Nova will make you laugh with her funny quirks. She pulls the funniest faces and likes to bounce around. She's hilarious!
On a typical day, Nova is OK by herself for a few hours. She does really well but, of course, prefers to be around her humans. A daily walk and a play will keep her happy. She also loves to join you on the couch and watch tv. Yes, Nova actually watches tv!
Nova is toilet trained and relatively calm. She can be found inside, where the cuddles are! She's never lived with cats, kids, or other pets (other than the very reactive doggo). When Nova was a pup, she went to the dog park regularly. At these times, she only had eyes for the ball and didn't care too much about other doggo's. However, Nova hasn't been socialized with dogs for the past 4 years. She is afraid of the dog she's currently living with, and that's all she knows. She'd love to be re socialized with an experienced owner as she can be nervous sometimes.
Ideally, Nova will go to an experienced owner who can help her blossom into the confident and happy dog she would like to be. She's got so much love to give!
Medical notes
Nova is a very healthy doggo. She does sometimes scratch her ear a little if it gets dirty so we use EpiOptic to clean it and then she is good to go. Its back to normal, so we just wipe it and it doesn't bother her.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
