About Shakira
I’m a sassy young lady who is ready to meet my purrfect forever family!
I have spent the past few months in foster carer, growing and brushing up on my manners. I’ve definitely done lots of growing, I could use a little bit more work on some of my manners! Whilst I am a very sweet girl, I have a tendency to play very rough. I’m in no way aggressive, I just get very carried away when I play and get a bit mouthy.
I’m seeking an experienced cat owner who can read cat body language and will continue to teach me how to play appropriately.
A strictly indoor home, with no young children would be best from me. I would benefit from access to a secure cat enclosure to come and go from. I have a lot of energy, I would not be suited to a small home.
I love climbing scratching trees, chasing toys and exploring every inch of the home. Lots of enrichment is a must for me, otherwise I will find things that maybe I shouldn’t get into to keep me entertained.
Once I’ve burnt my boundless amounts of energy, I will curl up on your lap and catch up on the latest netflix dramas. I need a lot of beauty sleep to stay this beautiful.
I have lived with dogs, I’m happy to coexist with them, however I can be a bit annoying to them, so if I was to live with a dog, they would need to be tolerant of my playful antics.
It would be best that I was the only feline of the home, I don’t really like sharing my humans attention with other felines.
All of my cheeky quirks aside, I’m a very friendly, chatty and social little lady who loves to be involved with everything you’re doing. I will cry out and stretch myself up for cuddles and love to get lots of pats.
If you have the love and space to give an energetic kitten like me, please fill out an expression of interest form in as much detail as possible and I will have my people, call your people!
