About Tigger
Tigger is FIV positive, this means he is looking for a indoor only home as a only cat or a fellow feline friend who has had FIV vaccinations or FIV themselves. A bit about FIV: A cat diagnosed with FIV can live a normal happy life and can have a normal cat lifespan!
Tigger came to us after being abandoned at a vet clinic after sustaining life threatening injury's after what was believed to be a possum attack.
One of the lovely vet nurses from the clinic looked after him while he was recovering from his surgery and now he's ready to find his forever home.
Tigger loves food, it's the way to his heart. He's learnt to sit and beg for a treat. He loves to play, be chased and gets cat zoomies, he loves his feather on a stick best!
He loves chin and cheek scratches, sleeping curled up on the bed with you and to roll around in a sunny spot inside. Tigger will take a couple of weeks to settle in to his new home, using treats or chicken will quicken the process.
He loves dogs he will brush against them purring and tries to play with them. He previously lived with a Maremma.
He would love someone who can give him a cat run so he can enjoy the outside like he once did as a street cat but in the safety of a run! Tigger is FIV positive so cannot have an outdoor lifestyle.
He is super active so would love a home with someone who could keep up with his playfulness and be home lots for him!
He will be waiting at the door to greet you when you arrive home from work.
Tigger could live with another FIV positive cat or one vaccinated against FIV as long as gradual introductions occur to make sure it's positive for both cats.
