About Bay
Are you on the hunt for a working breed and all that comes with that? Then Bay might be your girl. This girl is pint sized fun and everyone who meets her instantly falls in love as she’s just so cute !
We are looking for a working dog experienced home for Bay and someone who is going to provide her enough physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy. Bay came from rural NSW and was quite timid on arrival. Although she has come along way in care, she can still get nervous in new situations and when meeting new people. She will need a confident handler who has the experience to continue to appropriately build her confidence or who is willing to work alongside a recommended trainer for support. Once Bay has become familar with you, she will be your best friend and when play time is over she is all about the cuddles and love. Her foster carer says she is the best snuggle buddy in the evenings.
Like any working dog, she thrives off engagement and direction. She loves playing with toys and learning new things. Habits like chewing and digging can be avoided with sufficient daily stimulation and fun. Bay is in a foster home with two other large dogs and enjoys having a good rough and tumble with them, followed by lots of cuddles. She has typical working dog play style. She needs further work with socialisation out and about as she can get nervous if other dogs are too full on. She isn’t suited to be a dog park type of dog and would rather have lots of play dates with known friendly dogs instead.
Bay is super smart and quite independent. She would make a great work or adventure buddy. She is not suited to an inner city life, in units or a home with young kids. It would be best if there is another dog in the home, but it must be a confident and friendly dog. If there isn’t another dog in the family, she will need someone home more often than not. Her training is coming along well and she is currently mastering sit, stay, lie down and walking on a leash. Bay is working on her toilet training and is doing very well. As she is still an adolescent puppy, her new owners must patient and committed to continuing her training and appropriate socialisation.
Bay is looking for a home where she will be allowed inside as part of the family and be provided a warm, comfy bed inside to sleep on of a night. She is a true companion dog who will be loyal and loving to her owners.
Bay is just a lovely beautiful girl who is just full of life and turns heads wherever she goes. If you are missing a pint sized pocket rocket then fill out our adoption application form from our website as the next step in the process.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
