About Neatie
Based in Horsham - Rural Victoria
Neatie our Border Collie is ready to start her search for a lifetime home.
Neatie's date of birth is 31/8/2017 and she is a smooth coat. This girl is overweight and out of condition so she needs a home dedicated to helping Neatie to improve her overall health.
Neatie came to us through the pound system and has only been in our care for a short time.
What we know about Neatie is she loves people and having belly rubs. She is a smart girl that was initially quite wound up and a bit of a "sniper" with the other dogs. However within 48 hours Neatie had settled into the pack and was happy to play with the other dogs in the foster placement.
Neatie has had a few toiletting accidents in the house but we are thinking this is more about all the changes in her life and being with other dogs.
Neatie had noted on her pound surrender form that she can jump fences so will need good fencing. In the time Neatie has been in our care we have not had any issues. The key for Neatie and any working breed is mental stimulation and physical exercise. Neatie will need further training and guidance with walking on lead without pulling and frequently changing direction.
Neatie goes to her new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed. Neatie is currently recovering from her spey surgery. Her adoption fee is $600.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
