Meet Miss Ellie-May!
A true lady, Ellie-May is well-mannered and completely house trained. She will let you know if she needs to go out and sleeps beautifully through the night with the occasional nighttime potty break. She even takes herself to bed...at 7:30pm! Early to bed means early to rise! She would like a quick morning walk/play. She loves a good toy, especially her ball, tug rope and her soft toys (which she takes pleasure in ripping up haha).
Getting out of the house is still a bit exciting but she is working well with her foster mum to do some lead training so she can be your perfect companion. She gets a bit worked up and over-excited out and about, so will need somebody happy to continue outdoor education to help her relax. Ellie-May knows her basic commands and is very smart. She can even dance, shake, double shake and catch treats! She's been an absolute pleasure to work with and is very responsive to food.
She loves having people around, but has been doing well being left to snooze all day and play with her toys while her foster parents work. Ellie-May is best friends with the kids next door to her foster parents (there are 6!) and let's them pet her and give her treats. She's also very polite and gentle around newborns, doesn't jump up and seems to know that babies are delicate. She has had doggie friends before but will need to be introduced slowly or be an only fur-child preferably.
Miss Ellie-May is sweet as can be. At night she loves cuddling with Foster Dad and on days off, napping with Foster Mum. Can she be your new cuddle buddy?!
Medical notes
Ellie-May is currently on a slow-kill heartworm eradication program that involves fortnightly medication. All medication and medical costs related to her heartworm eradication are covered by Precious Paws.
