About Red
**Please note, Red has been flown to Perth and we are looking to find him a family that is already down South**
If you are looking for a cuddly companion, Red is just that. He loves to sit beside you on the couch and get belly rubs.
Red has been ok with other female dogs, but gets a little bit nervous and barks when meeting male dogs. As he has just recently been sterilised, we feel once he has settled in to a home he may be able to make some progress with meeting other male dogs.
He has not met a cat before so we couldn't confirm how he would act. However, his last foster family had caged in chickens which Red went in the cage with the family and was not phased by them at all.
Walking on a lead without pulling is something Red is still working on. He gets very excited when the lead comes out, but tends to calm down and get better as the walk goes on. Walking him on a harness would be better suited for him than a collar.
Red is still breaking out of his bad habit of jumping up to say hello, or when excited. His nails are long and could be dangerous to children. We are wanting to only rehome him with children over 10.
If you think you can provide this kind natured boy with a home to call his own, please fill out the below link with as much detail as possible. Please include photos of your home, other pets and anything else you would like to share with us.
