About Cherie ~ deserving 2yo
Cherie is a sweet cat who has had a tough start in life. She came into care last year with her babies who were adopted quickly, but little Cherie felt like hanging out with her foster carers for a little longer. She'd worked hard on all the motherhood stuff so she probably wanted a bit of me-time. Fair point Cherie!
Cherie started off with quite a distrust of humans but over time has come to enjoy affection and company. It has been such a joy to watch this sweet girl learn to trust people and show her adorable personality. She will take longer that usual to warm up to you, but once she does she is a real sweetie. She has learnt that sitting alongside her humans on the lounge is a great place to be. She has been in care a long time, and since learning to trust humans, is ready for her forever home. She has a loud purr and loves to bump her head into your hand for pats. She sometimes gets a bit overexcited when she gets lots of pats and gives your fingers a little gentle nibble.
She would suit a quiet, adult only home. Or one with older teenagers. She would prefer if someone was home most of the time, as she loves company. If she’s left alone too long, she gets her avocado toy and walks around the house crying out for attention.
She has a good appetite and isn’t fussy. She uses her litter tray without any issues. She has been living with lots of cats and a dog, and while she has made amazing progress with her social skills, she would likely do better as an only pet in a home. If there is another cat in the house, she would prefer a male. Cherie is not really fond of other females.
Cherie is an inside only cat. She is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated which is all included in her $80 adoption fee.
Cherie lives in Windermere Park and is waiting for someone to fill out an application!
