Rolo ~ 10mo British Bulldog(On Hold 8/3/22)

Meet Rolo or affectionately known as ‘fatty’. He is a 10 month old Pure Bred British Bulldog. Whilst he has squishy rolls to melt even the toughest of men. He has got the brains and brawn to match. He’s taking to training and cannot wait to take on the world with his forever family.

Rolo is a simple guy, a old soul, just give him a snack and a pat and he’s all yours. He’s content to lounge around all day and happy to go for adventures or more simply a walk around the block. He’s a NRL supporter, loves to chase around the footy in the backyard or park. He’s not going to run any marathons or climb mountains, so if your looking for an endurance training buddy. You need not apply!

Rolo is in the process of being house trained, he indicates to go outside for his business but accidents happen until he’s settled into his forever home. He is learning to sit, stay and come. Rolo is motivated by reward/food based training and with your commitment, he will be your most loyal best friend. Rolo is good on the lead and chooses to stay by his foster family when out on walks at local parks and the beach.

Rolo didn’t get the best start in life, So his forever person/family would need to emerge him into their lives and home. Due to his breeds respiratory issues, he needs access inside to air-con especially in summer to keep cool.

Rolo gets along with most dogs in passing and the park, though living up to his affectionate nick name “fatty” does not like to share his food with other dogs but is always asking for them to share theirs. He’s lived happily playing in the day and coming in of an evening to lounge with his foster family. Rolo wants to be apart of the family, he’s got a-lot of love to give.

Rolo can get excited around new people and jump up, as he’s going to be a big boy he’s quick to correct his behavior when directed by his foster family. He currently lives with toddlers and young children which he adores. Rolo doesn’t jump up on young children and appears to be aware of his 23kg wide load around them. He would be best suited to person/s who are home alot to share his days with. Though he isn’t bothered to potter around by himself if need be.
