About Buddy ~ 16mo JRT X (On Trial 14/3/22)
Introducing Buddy , a very active 16mth Jack Russell Terrier X. This handsome energetic boy found himself in a less that ideal position in life, coming to his foster carer needing some TLC. He has definitely flourished, and is showing us that amazing JRT nature and excitement for life.
Buddy loves his human family, wanting to be with you always, to eat , to sleep with and to play. Buddy will play with soft toys and chase balls. Buddy has learnt to play chase with another foster dog but much prefers to interact with his human family.
Buddy is very active & would jump into your arms if he had the opportunity , so his choosing to sleep with his humans is their bed is incredibly easy for him. Buddy gets on well with other dogs but being food orientated so supervision at mealtimes is needed. Buddy didn't receive the best start to life in regards to food portions, so is always enthusiastic for his meals. Buddy is learning to be house trained, using a doggy door & is going well. Buddy will benefit from further training.
Buddy is best suited to a home with someone home mostly, where he is welcome inside when the family are home. Buddy would be great with older kids, as he may scare or knock over smaller children with his jumping or take food from their hands. Buddy is not an escape artist, but he will try to jump the fence to be near you, so good fencing is a must.
