About Pip
Hi I’m Pip, I am a gorgeous 10 month old Toy Poodle
My foster family have said that I’m an awesome cuddle buddy who is happy to chill. I do prefer to have company with either my foster humans or foster fur brother. They have called me their little shadow once or twice. My dream home would be with someone who either works from home or doesn't work and is a home body.
I was surrendered to the rescue after having an accident at my previous home – I broke my leg! My old mum and dad did the surgery and made sure I was all good but they were concerned that I would do more damage to myself if I stayed with them and the big dogs they had there.
They also said that they struggled to put the weight on me and I was the fussiest eater they had ever seen! Wellllll let me tell you now food and I are no issues – I can definitely work up a good appetite and I love many many different types of food.
I have spent the last few months working on building muscle in my leg and that was fun – I got to play, and do physio and now you wouldn’t even know looking at me which leg I broke!
I am currently with a few fur siblings and i get on well with all of them. My foster mum does say that sometimes I am a little ditzy but then she says that's right your still young and growing your brain.
I am dog friendly and love to play (I'm good with all fur sizes), I am cat friendly and I am child friendly but don't really have much interest in them, and do not want to be carried around by children.
I am very much an inside dog – snoozing on the couch and sleeping on my human’s bed and
I would very much like this to continue.
I am toilet trained and will let you know when I want to go outside but I'm also happy to use a dog door.
I have a coat that does require grooming. I have already had a couple of professional grooms which didn’t faze me at all. The groomer did tell my foster mum that I need to continue going to a groomer so that my coat stays looking good & not matted so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense.
If you think you could make me part of your family & are interested in applying to adopt me, please send thru an adoption application.
** Please note applications will close Thursday 10th March 2022 at 5.30pm

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
