About Wilson
Wonderful Wilson is a sweet mature gentleman, who is looking for a home where he can laze about, go for a stroll and just be in good company.
When Wilson arrived at the shelter his coat was matted and he had grass seeds embedded everywhere. After multiple surgeries we believe all those sinister grass seeds have been located and removed. With this said Wilson needs a home with a committed owner who will have him brushed and groomed on a regular basis to keep him looking spunky and to keep his coat clean and silky white.
Wilson has also had multiple ear infections likely due to the embedded grass seeds, which have been removed and ears treated and he has finally been given the all clear in his ears.
Wilson will require a home with 6ft high secure fences to keep him safe and sound, as well as plenty of enrichment and obedience training to help remind him of his doggie manners.
While Wilson is an older dog, don't let that deter you. He has a loving personality and will make a great pet for the right person. He may, however, soon require veterinary treatment for diseases of old age such as arthritis and heart disease.

Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
