About Duckie
Duckie!! She is the sweetest, smoochiest girl. She LOVES cuddles and affection.
Duckie is also very playful...well, if she can force herself away from your lap that is!! She does the big launch zoomies, Greyhound people will know that one 😉
She is only 16 months old so has a lot to learn yet and her confidence will grow.
She needs some love and stability and she will flourish as a beloved family member.
Duckie will need a calm, patient home whilst she goes through her settling-in period as she can be a nervous nelly for a few days in new situations. After that, once settled, she is chilled as. She will just sleep all day if you're not around. She does not have anxieties, as such.
Duckie does tolerate other dogs but can live without another one.
She does get along perfectly with her rescue mate Zelda, another female Greyhound who she bunks with at her foster carers house.
Would probably say no chickens or cats unless you are prepared to supervise at all times or they live in a separate area to her. She doesnt have a strong prey drive but if they are running, she will chase them up.
She loves the kids and loves play time.
Haven't seen her dig. She is respectful of fences and doesn't bark unnecessarily.

Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption price) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
