About Harvey
Hey there potential new pawrents, my name is Harvey and I’m a 3 year old male desexed black and white border collie x kelpie. I am happy, friendly, loving, gentle and full of personality and just want to be constantly by your side! I love hanging out with my humans, playing with my foster siblings and being included as part of the family. I get along well with other dogs. I have great recall and have mastered all my basic training
I quietly sleep soundly in my crate at night and am happy being inside as part of the family. I will need an experienced home that has had working dogs in the past and understands training and how to keep my clever brain engaged.
In my current home I have a 1 year old human foster brother who I’ve been awesome around too, I love getting cuddles from him and I am so gentle around him!
My ideal home is in suburbia, with a lovely secure backyard, and humans that have breed experience willing to continue on with my training. I am not suited to a home with cats, small animals, free range chickens or livestock. I would love a home with an active human family, I would be a great running companion and would prefer a home with a doggy sibling for me to play with. I would also like a family who I can be around more often than not as I love following my foster mum around everywhere and being part of the action! I am highly in tune with my humans and know just when they need a cuddle and a smooch if they are sad too....it’s my hidden superpower!
My foster mum says I’m a super handsome, gentle and loving natured goofball and I will reward you with loyal companionship and lots of love.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
