About Riley
Introducing Riley,
Wow, we do we start with this special little lady?
At 3 weeks old, Riley and her brother Ronnie were found by a member of the public dumped in a box. Thankfully, they weren't there long and quickly brought into foster care where they were fed by a lactating mother cat.
At 6 weeks of age Riley tested positive for feline parvovirus. Incredibly, Riley fought valiantly and overcome parvo. Unfortunately, her brother Ronnie passed.
The fact that this tiny kitten fought and beat this virus is a testament to her beautiful and strong spirit. She has been through so much for such a young age and she is still always such a happy and giddy little kitten.
One of the lasting effects of beating parvo is that Riley is now left with a mild form of cerebellar hypoplasia. This is more commonly known as 'wobbly cat syndrome'. Riley has a slight head wobble and from time to time when she's running she'll lean and wobble more towards one side. This requires no real need of extra care in regards to her future family. She has been checked and cleared by our vets multiple times. All we recommend is regular check ups to ensure her CH isn't getting worse.
Riley would best suit a home with another young cat as she is extremely playful. Alternatively, she would love to be adopted out with her foster sister Seraphina.
You will never meet a more special kitten in your life. Riley is guaranteed to make you laugh with every silly move she makes.

Medical notes
Riley has a mild form of cerebellar hypoplasia.
Cerebellar hypoplasia is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed.
This was not present at birth but a lasting effect of her battle with feline parvovirus.
Known more commonly as 'wobbly cat syndrome'
