About Thyme
It’s time to meet Thyme!
This pup is full of personality and fun. Thyme will make you laugh at her silliness but also keep you on your toes with her sassy character. She has absolutely mastered the puppy dog eyes and you can’t help but fall for her charm. Thyme is playful puppy who loves to interact with you or her doggy friends. She is relatively confident out and about and enjoys meeting new people and friendly dogs. Once she has burned all her energy exploring the world she loves to curl up with the resident dog in her foster home for a nap.
Thyme is currently living with another playful dog in her foster home. She loves to wrestle with her and bring her toys in an effort to get her to play. Thyme is a high energy dog who is going to require substantial daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep her out of trouble. She will need a home with another dog who is able to tolerate her insistence to play and happy to engage in her wrestling play. Her doggy companion should already be matured and fully trained (2yo or older) so that here family can focus their energy on training Thyme. She is expected to grow to a large size (around 30kg). In the absence of another dog, she will need a family who has a lot of time each day to provide her with the engagement she thrives on.
During her time in care, Thyme has been progressing well with her training. She has mastered sit and is working on her drop (lie down), place and manners when walking on the leash. It is imperative that her new family are committed to continuing her training. She loves puzzle toys, snuffle mats and kongs at meal time. Training will play an important role in her development and will be an ongoing part of her life, not just some initial classes or puppy preschool. Thyme is crate trained, travels well in the car and is is toilet trained. Thyme is food motivated and responding well to training but consistency is the key.
We are looking for a large dog experienced family for Thyme. Her family must be committed to training and be able to meet her physical and mental activity levels. She should be allowed to come inside and spend time with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is best suited to an adult only home or much older children who can actively participate in her training. She has not been tested with cats and pocket pets. Thyme will ideally need a yard to stretch her legs in but a home where there is exceptional commitment to outdoor activity will be considered regardless.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
