About Ebony
EBONY #334C DOB 28/08/2008 came into care quite a while ago, surrendered due to circumstances beyond her previous owner's control. They had a strong bond and Ebony was devastated by the change. While very affectionate, she was angry and clearly grieving. It took her quite a while to adjust. Ebony is a special cat who needs a very special new human. She loves pats and being picked up, but will strike and bite when she feels like it. Her foster carer has worked hard to teach Ebony boundaries, and she has improved greatly. But because of this behaviour she is not suitable for young children or elderly owners. Ebony is not a fan of other cats, or dogs, but has lived with another cat, who gave her plenty of space. Respectful dogs may be okay too. Ebony has a strong prey drive so would make an excellent mouser. Her ideal home would probably be an acreage or rural property where she can be in charge of rodent control. Due to her age she needs to be more than just a barn cat. She is fastidious with her litter tray and eats well. Ebony is extremely affectionate and craves a strong bond with her humans, you just need to have quick reflexes...if none of this has put you off, you may be that special person Ebony is looking for.
