NOTE: You are unable to meet Odin until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Odin in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children due to my size
• A submissive dog is the best housemate for me. But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE people, so I'm just as happy being an only dog getting all of your love and attention for myself
• I like both friendly male and female dogs however I prefer submissive female dogs as company who arnt full on in play as im happy to have company but I am not playful.
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• Large breed experience is a MUST

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• young children due to my size

My best features:
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I appear to be quiet vocal at times when left alone - a family who has a lot of time for me, allow me indoors and leave me with lots of mental enrichment when home alone is recommended.

Medical
• I am currently very overweight which is putting added pressure on my joints, I will need to go to a home that is dedicated to helping me lose weight.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET ODIN BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
