Hi there. I’m Pepper. I’m a 10-month-old Kelpie cross cattle dog girl.💕
I’m a sweet and shy girl and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit an active family on a large property/farm that will include me in their everyday lives. I'm typical of the Cattle dog breed and am a velcro dog.
I’m a social girl with younger, smaller dogs and puppies. I am unsure around larger dogs, but live happily in care with the resident border collies. I'm untested with small children, therefore a home with kids over 12 years of age would be be preferred.
Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. When I first arrived I had trust issues, and am still very shy and unsure when meeting new people. For this reason, I'm looking for a quiet home with someone home most of the time.
I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever girl & learn quickly. I sit & wait for my food. We have been working on my recall and I'm going great. I have also started my lead training and am getting used to walking with one. I go on bush walks with my foster family and foster siblings and don’t stray far from my foster mum.
I currently sleep both inside in a crate and am outside during the day. I’m a good girl and sleep quietly through the night. I live with cats but I would prefer my home have NO kitties as they terrify me. I also live with chickens and pay no attention to them in their enclosure or when they have free range time, although I have not been in the same yard with them.
I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation to help me be the best girl I can be. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.

~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?
