Remus

Hi, I'm Remus! I'm a 2 year old Kelpie fella who will be your next best mate. I love people - they're all the best! I'm a big gentle pup who just wants to cuddle.

I want to just hang round and see what you're doing - going for walks, playing in the bush, just chilling at home ... as long as I'm included, I'll be happy. Foster Dad can't try me out with kids or other furry pets yet, but I reckon I'll be gentle with them. I get on well with my dog friends in care although I would prefer a sister rather than a brother in my new home!

I do love my human - I will quite happily sit at your feet when you're watching TV; I'm also happy to follow you around the yard and see what's going on as we go about our day. Foster Dad says I'm pretty smart - I love to listen and learn new skills; it doesn't take very long for me to know exactly what you want me to do!

I'm a really intelligent boy. I've learned to walk on lead, I come when called. I know sit, I pretend to know stay ... but I need more practise! At dinner time I sit patiently until I'm told to eat - even with the distractions of my foster siblings! If you show me what you want, I'll learn it for you. Foster dad has shown me sheep, they were fun and I'd like to play with them a bit more if I'm allowed. A home on acreage with lots of space to explore (and maybe have a go with some sheep) would be a dream, come true!

I am excited to find my forever home. Most kinds of families would suit me as long as they understand the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed and are committed to ongoing training. I would love to have siblings (doggy and/or human) but most of all I’d like a family who will love me and include me in their lives.
