About Possum
Please meet Possum, he used to be our petrified street cat 😂.
He is still a kitten at approximately 6 months old, such a big sook and smoocher. He loves to head butt you if you arent paying him any attention.
He still gets scared sometimes with sudden movements, but I believe thats his street instinct kicking in. As soon as he realises its just us he shoots a dirty look and struts off because we made him jump 😂
He loves older kids, around 10 and up is great, around 6 not soo much. He is perfectly fine to be a member of a family with other felines or even without. Not tested with dogs. Possum comes desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.
Currently located in care in Cranebrook and would love to find his forever with someone who will give him the crown he deserves as he will be King of his castle. He will need some patience in the beginning whilst he learns to trust you. When he does, you will be rewarded with headbutts and an endless purr. Oh and he will insist on sleeping with you, dont even think of closing your bedroom door. 😻

Adoption details
At Brighter Future Cat Rescue we adopt to indoor homes only or homes with suitable cat runs. All our cats and kittens have meet and greets. A 2 week trial period is given to ensure that they are ideal for your situation and lifestyle. All our cats come desexed, microchipped, first vaccination and their worming and flea treatment are up to date. We rescue our cats off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of the perils of modern day society.
