Ernie

Meet Ernie,
This handsome relaxed boy is looking for a quiet place to call home.
Ernie is a gentle soul who is shy in new surroundings. It takes him quite a while to realize that he’s safe before he starts exploring, though once he feels safe, he is such a smooch!

Ernie came back into our care after being diagnosed with diabetes. He was not in the best condition when he returned. Since being in care he has continued to improve, gain weight and has had several vet visits to ensure his health is continuing to improve.
After his most recent vet visit, we have the all clear to find him the perfect home!

Ernie loves a pat, chin scratch, brush, basically any attention is fine by him.
He is good with other cats, currently living with 2 other males and has been perfectly fine. He isn’t a fan of dogs, hiding when his foster carers dogs are inside.

Ernie is fully litter trained and hasn’t had any accidents since being in our care. He has no interest in going outside and given his shy personality, it would be best he was an indoor only kitty.

He enjoys spending his days napping around the home, a lot of the time underneath something so he feels safe, and when he’s feeling brave, he will watch the world go by out the front windows.

Given Ernie’s shy personality, he would be best suited to a quite home with older children or no children, and preferably no dogs.

Ernie is a pleasure to have around and will be a wonderful addition to any family looking for calm loving companion.
