About Moe
This gentle natured boy was dumped in the streets by a previous owner and left to fend for himself. We have no idea how long he was out there but one of our kind volunteers began feeding him and we were hoping to gain his trust whilst we found a place for him. Then out of the blue he turned up with an horrific ulcerated open would on his side so we had no choice but to trap him as quickly as possible and get him to the vets for treatment.
Fortunately he obliged and off to the vets he went. 2 surgeries later and lots of TLC from some very dedicated carers, he has completely recovered.
Moe is a very quiet and gentle soul, he is still tentative around people and watches the goings on from the safety of his igloo bed. Loud noises and sudden movements still scare him but he has progressed really well and whilst he’s not quite up to pats and cuddles yet, he’s happy to be around his humans.
Moe deserves a auiet home with an experienced owner who has the time and patience to continue his socialisation and gently build his trust. We think he’d do best either as a single cat or in a home with another very gentle cat.
Moe is such a dear boy, he is litter trained and an easy eater. We are not sure exactly what age Moe is but he’s not young and not old, most likely around 4 years or there abouts.

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
