About 🍯HoneyBuns🍯
Honeybuns is 6 years old and unfortunately it seems that she was used for breeding and then discarded when she was no longer useful.
Although she ended up somewhere she was loved it still wasn’t quite the right fit for her. As a result of her history, she is very head shy and worries about being restrained so we are looking for a home that has time to dedicate to earning Honeybuns trust and teaching her that people aren't all that bad.
She will need a home that has experience with squishy faces as she is averse to getting her face cleaned.
Despite this, she is a sweet girl who loves pats and cuddles with the people she deems as hers and will find a comfy spot on the bed next to you.
She gets along well with other cats and would happily live with another friendly, confident cat but does not want to live in a home with dogs or kids.
Honeybuns still needs to gain a little bit of weight, but this is proving tricky, as she's a very fussy eater. Her new home will need to ensure she has the foods she likes and encourage her to eat.
Initially she will need a space of her own where her family can get to know her before introducing her to the house or other cats. If you think you would make a good match for Honeybuns please complete an adoption questionnaire in the link below. Please note that only enquiries that are accompanied by a completed questionnaire will receive a response.
Honeybuns is in care in Longwarry, but can also be met in Wantirna South, by arrangement.
