About Sylvester
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN SUBSIDISE THE FLIGHT OF ADULT CATS TO MOST MAJOR CITIES AND ARRANGE A FACETIME OR WHATS APP MEET.
Do you want a big, miserable and grumpy challenge. A cat that won't demand too much from you. But he is very handsome.
Not every one likes to be smothered with affection. Maybe you would prefer a cat that knows life is tough, just listens, and doesn't think what ever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Sylvester was in the care of the famous "Dog Lady of Yuendumu" who he liked very much but he doesn't like his new Sydney foster carer. She is trying not to take this personally and accept you can't please all of the cats all of the time.
He hisses at her every time she says hello but still allows her to stroke him and rub him under the chin.
He comes out for his food and will reluctantly be stroked but goes straight back to his box.
So all the photos are of Sylvester in his box. Happy to provide more, if you like cats in boxes? So do you have a spot in you house for a cat in a box?
Sylvester likes his foster pal Macchiato and ignores any new additions.
He is de sexed, chipped, vaccinated and parasite treated. The vet likes him but has his own cranky cat. He is approx. 3yrs old.
He is in foster care in Kingsford near the Uni of NSW.
WE ARE VERY FLEXIBLE WITH OUR TRIAL PERIOD TO FIND THE RIGHT HOME FOR SYLVESTER.

Have you had cats before?
Who makes up your family including the ages of children?
Have you considered how to introduce your new cat to other pets you may have? They may not want a new cat in the household even if there was one before.
Have you got written permission for a cat from your body corporate or landlord?
Are you a permanent resident of Australia?
If you are offered the option to meet the cat and if all goes well we expect you to be ready to adopt/take home the cat at that time.
We cannot hold animals as there are others waiting to come into care.
