On Hold
β‘οΈ Mufasa had been abandoned and took up residence at a business. Workers had been feeding him for some time. We brought him into rescue expecting him to be unsocial, however, he is a very loving sweetheart who purrs every time you pat him. He is quite chill and paws when he gets cheek scratches.
He was picked up from his location and brought into rescue to have his vetwork done. As all our carers are at full capacity, we are desparate for a foster carer or furever indoor only home.
Any potential homes must have no other pets, particularly no other cats as sadly when Mufasa went in for desexing, vaccinations and Microchip, he tested FIV positive. While it is still possible he can live many years still, it is not transferable to humans or dogs, only cats via bite or blood transfer.
If you can find it in your heart to give this poor big guy a chance finally at a normal home, please contact us asap to discuss.
