About Dusty
APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR DUSTY!
Dusty is a male Huntaway X who is approx 9 months old.
This gorgeous boy adores people! He loves pats and scratches and to play. Dusty has gotten along well with the other dogs here at the Sanctuary and when tested with cats, was a little hesitant with them...especially the hissy ones!
Dusty still requires basic training so will need an owner who is capable of putting in the work to train him or with the help of obedience classes. Dusty can get a little anxious when left alone so a home with another dog may help him with that. Dusty travels well in the car.
This loving boy is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, temperament tested, worm and flea treated and is ready for his new home.

Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
