About Sam
Sam is just gorgeous! While understandably a little unsure and shy when she first arrived into strange surroundings, she is quickly setting in and feeling more at home. Sam has a sweet nature - although a little timid, she wants to like people and is very affectionate. She loves her snuggles. She will sleep outside if she is asked to but ideally likes being around her people and getting the reassurance that she's part of a family. Sam is not suited to young children due to still being rather nervous, but her carer has older dog-savvy kids who respect her space, and she is good around them. Potentially her best fit would be a home with adults, or a family with older kids/young adults. Sam doesn't bark (unless someone is outside the gate to her property). Not suited to a home with cats.
Sam knows all her basic commands. She is an active girl who loves her walks at the park and the beach, and is easy to walk on lead. She has most likely missed out on socialisation with other dogs when younger, and is still learning how to act when seeing new dogs when out and about, so will benefit from a owner who understands and can manage this. Any meets with unknown dogs will need to be calm and gradual. Sam is great with her carer's dog so once she is comfortable around them she does have the potential to share a home with another placid dog.
Overall, Sam is a very easy, quiet girl who will only need to have some effort putting into gentle socialisation and surrounded with love.
