On Hold
About Toby ~ 11yr Old Border Collie X(On Hold 5/3/22)
Meet Toby (affectionately known as Toe Beans in his foster home!), 11yo cattle x border collie. Toby is the happiest and joyful old man you’ll ever meet.
Toby came into care after his owners couldn’t look after him anymore. It took absolutely no time at all for Toby to trust and shower his foster carers with love and kisses. Toby loves people and dogs and will win your heart with his big ears and friendly smile. He likes to spend his days next to you, sleeping or getting belly rubs. He is a very relaxed dog who just wants love.
Toby has never shown interest in being destructive or noisy, and is reliably house trained. He loves his food and is not picky in the slightest.
Toby walks wonderfully on the lead. He loves his walks despite his age and will even have a run around with his foster sister when he feels like it, in short bouts of playfulness! He knows how to sit and will come when you call. He will also listen to you if you tell him ‘no’, or ‘on your bed’.
Toby’s forever home ideally won’t have small animals or cats. A home with another dog who can match Toby’s laid back nature would be ideal, but he would be happy being an only dog if given enough attention from his humans.
Toby is always excited to see you when you get home from work or outings.
For more information about Toby, please contact his foster carer on their email finlayheilbuth@gmail.com
Toby is in foster care in Cardiff, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Toby’s adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
