Looking for a young, happy bundle of doggy love? Then meet the very handsome Elwood!
He is a friend to all, including cats and dogs, and just adores humans of all ages and sizes. In his mind, he is a lap dog and his humans had better love cuddles and kisses because this boy wants to deliver as much loving as he can.
He loves to play zoomies and his rough-and-tumble play style is best suited to a similar sized playmate, happy to engage to his style of play.
Due to his exuberance and bouncy nature he is best suited to older kids even though he is incredibly loving to the smaller ones too.
While he does know his basic manners like sit drop and stay, his lead work and recall are still in progress. He gets excited and can forget his name. He really does love to please but like most teenagers, gets distracted.
Elwood has no desire to jump fences and is happy to spend time in the yard snoozing away and dreaming of when he can next see his human for cuddle time.
He sleeps all night in his crate without a peep and has yet to make a single toilet mistake in the house. He hasn’t shown any tendencies to destroy toys and is happy playing with his stuffed toys.
He really loves other dogs so his ideal family will have a doggie playmate, a few kids to play with, plus a soft bed.
Elwood will truly complete your family if you are prepared to wait out his teenager tendencies and to provide him rules and guidance while he gains a bit more maturity.
Is that you?
