About Rusty
My name is Rusty, I'm a 10 year 11month old lady who is looking for my new loving home that I can relax in and just be able to hangout with my people.
I'm a very independent kitty who likes to find the nice sunny spot in the house to close my eyes and sleep the day away, I will easily make myself at home and find my place on the couch or the bed really just anywhere I see fit!!!
I get on well with other cats and am sharing my space with other cats during my stay at BARC, BARC staff where also told that I have lived with dogs before and I did get on really well with them...
Being an older lady I would really enjoy my new house to be stress free, so kids that are teenage age would be ideal as I do like my own space sometimes.
I LOVE a pat however being picked up all the time isn't really my thing I would much prefer to just jump up on your knee or have my pats on the floor!
Due to my beautiful coat I will need someone who is willing to give me a brush a few days a week so it can stay nice and fluffy...
If you think you have a home for me where I can park my fluffy in the sunny window then please give BARC a call on 54412209 and book in for a meet and greet.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
