ABOUT LAVERNE

Laverne is a bit of a rarity in the kitty world, being a ginger and white female.
She came into care with her friend, Shirley, from a rural pound in Queensland where she was sentenced to be put to sleep simply for having no home.

Laverne is as affectionate as she is pretty, but prefers humans to cats.
She loves lying beside her people, and enjoys pats and scratches from them.
She would probably most enjoy being an only cat, and having her human all to herself, but seems to tolerate other cats, especially once she gets to know them.

Although Laverne is still less than 12 months old, she is quite mature for her age, and can offer her forever humans the best of both worlds, as she can still be playful, but seems to have graduated from the ""silly stage"".
Now that she has a second chance, she is looking forward to meeting her forever family and living happily ever after with them.

BEHAVIOUR NOTES : Laverne can be timid and will need time & patience to help her adjust to her new home.
