About Puddles
Hi there, meet Puddles! She likes finding the best spots to splash around, whether it be her shell pool or a muddy puddle. She entertains herself independently with a play in the backyard and her favourite ball or sticks when she is alone. She also adores her (especially male) humans and is very affectionate. She would love to be included in all the ins and outs of family life and have her humans close by.
Playtime, activities, running around in the backyard and spending time with her humans will satisfy Puddles’ needs. She doesn’t enjoy walking on the lead near traffic; she is reactive when she sees cars. This being said, she is fine on the lead with dogs. An occasional walk to a reserve or park (without vehicles) would whoop up her day!
Puddles would excel with kids older than 8. She is keen on their cuddles and playing games together. Mutual respect would be great, of course. Puddles used to live with another male dog. Whilst she was very bossy and pushy towards his submissive nature, they did love each other and got along well. She isn’t the biggest fan of cats. Preferably, she would go to a home being the only dog, having all the love and attention she deserves.
Dog training would be a huge benefit to establish a connection with her, as once she respects your authority, she’s the most loyal friend! She is such an intelligent doggo with lots of untapped potential. She would love to be mentally stimulated to develop even further.
Ideally, Puddles goes to a home with a single person, couple or family that can give her the attention she craves and help her grow and flourish. She would love to spend as much time with you as she can but would also love some space in the yard to stretch her legs if alone. Is Puddles your kinda girl?
Medical notes
Puddles is a very healthy girl, but does have a sensitive tummy with lamb.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
